loved the central location, with many dining options nearby. The studio room was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with useful information about Christchurch. a wonderful stay that exceeded our expectations.

For a 5 star hotel everything was modern, I greatly enjoyed to be here. The stuff was excellant and affable, offered excellent services. The room was beautifully maintained and brand-new, included with 50 + Sky channels and separate bedroom, as example. A fridge, a stovetop, and kitchenware where a big plus. Also, location was perfect, at a moderate distance from a public art gallery...

The managers provide friendly and helpful service, giving great advice for activities in the area.

The kitchenette is small and has only a microwave, which may not be enough for some travellers who require more cooking facilities.

Had a great New Year experience here! The warm greeting from the staff made me feel right at home. The location was perfect, within walking distance to downtown, the river walk, and nearby parks. The suite was equipped with everything I needed and the bathroom was spacious. The gated property and friendly hosts provided added safety and security.

Although the living room was a bit dark, it was still cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was small, but it had all the necessities, including a fridge, stove, and microwave.

Exceptional Service

We were impressed by the exceptional service we received during our stay at Focus Motel. The reception person was friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They even helped us with after hours access when we arrived late on our first night. The staff's helpfulness and willingness to accommodate really made a difference in our experience.

Although there were a few minor inconveniences, such as a small bathroom fan and limited space for storing our suitcase, they did not detract from our overall positive experience.

Had a romantic escape and we were blown away by the stylish and modern room. There were lovely complementary treats on the bed and a pack of tissues for our convenience. The location was perfect for our needs, a short walk away from restaurants and bars. Our stay at this exclusive hotel was simply amazing. We were deeply impressed by the luxurious amenities, such as the private facilities and high-quality room advantages that made our stay very comfortable. The service was top-notch, and the location was perfect! We spent quality time at the BBQ facilities, which we enjoyed immensely.

The only minor issue we encountered during our stay was that the space was a bit tight for our luggage. We had a lot of things to unpack, and it was challenging to find enough storage space for them.

I chose Focus Motel because it was conveniently located near the Bridge of Remembrance, which I really wanted to visit. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the helpfulness of Roy and Carol at reception. They were happy to provide recommendations and also had handy guides to nearby restaurants and attractions. I loved the fact that there were over 20 restaurants close by, offering a variety of cuisines, including Indian, Thai, Burmese, Japanese. It was great to have so many options within walking distance and I even enjoyed a pint at an Irish pub. Additionally, the complimentary WiFi and barbecue grills were convenient amenities that made my stay even more enjoyable.

After our first night, we turned our door placard to 'No, thanks' for room service, but our room was still serviced. However, this was just a minor issue and it didn't really affect our overall satisfaction with Focus Motel.

Great location close to city center, clean rooms, friendly and responsive staff, kitchen facilities, useful orientation on arrival for exploring the city. Perfect for trekkers and group of friends.

Felt very much at home, nothing was too much trouble.
